Relative Humidity Sensors
Type KH-5500
This is a low cost type sensor that maintains the performance of type KH-5100 which is used for various measurement equipment. Relative humidity is detected by capacity, and this sensor is possible to use for a wide area from low temperature-low humidity to high temperature-high humidity.
Characteristics
- Wide range detection of humidity. : It is possible to measure 0-100%RH at from less than 0℃ to 80℃.
- Low cost. : Cost is almost the same as the one of resistance type sensor.
- High sensitivity and high linearity. : The rate of the capacitance changed by relative humidity is high.
- Small temperature dependence. : The influence of the capacitance by the temperature change is small.
- Quick response. : Within 20 seconds at room temperature(90% response).
- Excellent durability. : Sensor chip is covered by protection film.
- High reliability. : Out put signal is stable even if dew is contacted to the sensor device.
- Compact size and lightness. : The weight of a sensor device is about 1g.
- A filter can be selected. : The celection of filter for dustproof ability for use is possible.
- Environmental protection product. : It corresponds to the RoHS instruction of Europe.
